On behalf of the Organizing Committee, of the 4th North and East European Congress on Food (NEEFood), it is our great pleasure and privilege to invite you to join us in Kaunas, Lithuania, between 10-13 September 2017.
Under the theme of Global and Local Challenges in Food Science and Technology, we would like to invite all interested scientists, professionals, companies, governmental officials and professional associations working in the fields of food production, food processing, food quality and safety, nutrition, engineering and design, innovative technologies from Europe and all around the world to attend at this event.
After the very successful meetings in Sankt Petersburg in 2012, Kiev in 2013, and Brasov in 2015 NEEFood Congress comes for the first time in Lithuania. NEEFood 2017 offers us the opportunity to combine the beauty and hospitality of Kaunas city with some of the outstanding works done on the important topics of food science and technology, and to make easy contacts and relations among researchers from all around the world.
Kaunas is the second-largest city in Lithuania, which was a temporary capital of Lithuania during the interwar period. It is situated at the confluence of the two largest Lithuanian rivers, the Nemunas and the Neris and has been one of the most important cities of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania since 1413.
NEEFood 2017 will be held at the Santaka Valley – Kaunas University of Technology Science, Technology and Business Centre. The building is a modern science, technology and conference center and is located in the University Campus.
We work closely with the Scientific Committee to provide an unforgettable scientific experience as well as to offer a social program filled with opportunities to share the beauty of Lithuania with colleagues and friends from all around the world in a very familiar and warm atmosphere.
